Whether you are looking to lose a few pounds or to maintain the weight you currently have, these recipes are easy to make and healthier than a dinosaur burger and French fries.
1.0 Broccoli and feta omelet with toast
Feta cheese, crumbled
Rye bread, toasted
Coat the pain with the cooking spray. Over medium heat, cook the broccoli for 3 minutes
In a bowl, combine the egg feta and the dill. Add this mixture to the pan and cook until through.
2.0 Spiced green tea smoothie
Drinking green tea can be boring, however healthy it is. This recipe is a great way to make your green tea experience fun again.
A cup of strong green tea
Agave nectar Sapp

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Drink while cold.
3.0 Asian chicken salad
Small carrot, halved
Skinless chicken breasts, halved
Homemade chicken broth
Cucumbers, diced and seeded
Jicama, peeled and diced
Cilantro leaves, chopped roughly
In a sauce pan, over medium heat put in the ginger coriander, carrots and scallions and the chicken breast and top with the broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to very low and cover. Let it cook until the chicken is hard to touch. Remove from heat and rinse the chicken in cold water. Remove from bones and cut the meat into bite sizes. Save the broth and then toss the chicken, the remaining ingredients and a topping of your choice. Cup in lettuce leaves and serve with a lemon slice if preferred.
4.0 Low fat ginger dressing
Asian chili paste
Ginger, peeled and grated
Extra virgin oil
Whisk together all the ingredients, except the oil in a bowl.
The oil should be gradually whisked in gradually beginning with few drops to a steady stream.
5.0 Grilled chicken with basil dressing:
Chicken with basil dressing is a great healthy meal for dinner or lunch. It will give you the nutrients your body needs for the day.
Extra virgin oil
Fresh lemon juice
Fresh basil leaves
Grated lemon peel
In a resalable plastic bag, whisk the oil, lemon juice, salt, fennel seeds and black pepper. Add to this mixture the chicken and seal the bag. Let it to marinade.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 24 hours.
While freezing, blend the garlic, basil, grated lemon peel, lemon juice salt, and pepper until smooth. Season this blended mixture with salt if desired.
Prepare the barbecue over medium to high- heat or pre- heat the grill pan over medium to high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and set it on the pan and cook until almost through on each side. Cover with the basil sauce and serve.
